Superior, CO, 12/16/03 - VisionTEK, Inc., a leading provider of mobile data software for public safety agencies, announced today a strategic partnership with RSA Security Inc. (NASDAQ: RSAS), the most trusted name in e-security., to help protect public safety data, including criminal files, law enforcement reports, and text messages transferred across wireless and wired networks.

RSA BSAFE encryption software supports VisionTEK’s adoption of the Internet Security Association’s Key Management Protocol (ISAKMP) security negotiation infrastructure. Within this framework, RSA BSAFE software is being used for encryption and to negotiate security parameters, settings, and client device authentication for access to VisionTEK software applications and back-end data repositories.
