The UNITY client software is designed with user agility in mind.  The user tree on the left side shows on-line and off-line users and sorts groups by region, role, and agency.  The message composition window is centrally position, and attachment tools are located near the bottom of the screen.  Messages can be addressed to individuals or to response groups.  UNITY enables rapid creation of response groups based on pre-defined roles and responsibilities.
